It is part of the Just Dance video game series published by Ubisoft. Just Dance 3 was announced shortly after the release of Just Dance 2 and will be released on October 11, 2011 worldwide. Along with solos and duets, Just Dance 3 will feature quartets which will allow 4 players to dance all together. The Wii and Move versions will have Smart Shuffle in which the player will be challenged and rewards can be unlocked, and Dance Mashup which will pair different dance styles into one. The Wii version will have a Flash Mob mode. This mode can share up to 8 Wii Remotes in which players can dance together. The Nintendo Wii offers a totally different gaming experience as they try and move away from the traditional way of playing games. The idea of the Wii is to become more active whilst still enjoying the great games on offer; this was confirmed by the release of Wii Fit aimed at making fitness fun.

Since its release in December 2006, over 30 million have been sold which is double the amount of Playstation 3’s. The controller detects movement and allows the user to become more involved in the game. Wii Sports is available as a package with the console and with Tennis, Boxing, Bowling, Golf and Baseball available, and is a great game to start your Wii experience.

These two, along with the Xbox 360, have competed for customers since their release and are set to continue. The seventh generation consoles have been extremely popular and as Christmas approaches many parents will see these appearing on Christmas lists. The thought behind the Wii Fit balance board is that splitting it into four parts or quadrants will let the game know that you’re doing your movements the right way, when it detects that your balance is good on it. It’s great when you want to play Skiing or Snowboarding games.

But, not everyone can use it, as it has a weight limit of 136 kg, which means that people that bigger than this weight will need to loose weight if they want to use it. If you are bigger than that weight limit and you manage to drop below it, you will be even more fit after you play on it for some time.

In order to use the Wii Fit Balance Board, the player sits on it and controls the game action through his own movements.

It’s a very well thought of device, which detects pressure on the board and how your body changes position on it, so it can interpret your moves as Snowboard or Ski moves. The seven poses in the middle are more intense and they need the use of the Wii Fit Balance Board in some way.

The exercises based on strength, give you a pressure range that you need to match, while the aerobics programs use it to know your score. You can even play Skiing and Snowboarding games that have Slalom Courses in them, plus a whole range of other sports that are considered casual games.
